Turner vs. Battle: Round Two

Talor Battle and the Penn State men's basketball team are riding a two-game winning streak after road wins last week at Northwestern and Michigan. The Nittany Lions (10-16, 2-12) welcome Evan Turner, William Buford, Dallas Lauderdale and the No. 9 Ohio State Buckeyes (21-7, 11-4) to the Bryce Jordan Center tonight. The two teams met earlier in the season when the Buckeyes topped the Lions in Columbus, 75-62, in a game that was much closer than the final score indicates.

Battle and Turner were both named to the All-Big Ten first team last season and were teammates on Team USA for the World University Games in the summer of 2009. The two guards have developed a friendship off the court, which has made their duels on the court even more exhilarating.

ComRadio's coverage begins at 6:00 p.m. after the station's nightly newscast when Ryan Staloff hosts the Comradio Basketball Pregame Show. Today's show will feature Pete Jensen's exclusive interview with former Penn State center John Amaechi, a "Booth Pop" segment to preview the game and the weekly "Sounding Off" segment with PSU head coach Ed DeChellis.

The pregame show will conclude at 6:25 p.m., and after the national anthem, the play-by-play team of Eric Reed and Pete Jensen will have the call of the action as Penn State faces off against the mighty Bucks. PSU looks for its first win of the season over a ranked opponent.
